Spotlight On… Celebrate the King’s Coronation

On 8th September 2022, Queen Elizabeth passed away peacefully and King Charles III became the new monarch.

Coronation plans have been laid out for many years, and the Coronation on 6th May of King Charles III and Camilla will be broadcast internationally from Westminster Abbey.

Charles III will be recorded in history as the longest ever heir apparent, and the oldest to ever accede to the British throne at the age of 73. Long live the King!

Take a look at the events going on locally to celebrate the Coronation.
