Royston’s much-loved Royston in Blue Family Fun Run returns to Therfield Heath at 11am on Sunday 29th June – and the community is invited to take part in this 5K event in support of an important cause.
Whether running, walking, or jogging, participants of all ages are encouraged to wear blue and join in raising vital funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The charity provides specialist care and support for young people aged 13–24 who are facing cancer, funding expert nurses, youth workers and dedicated hospital units across the NHS.
Sponsorship Opportunity – The event can only take place with the generous backing of local sponsors. Organisers are currently seeking a medal sponsor, offering a fantastic opportunity for a local company to support the charity while gaining visibility in the community. Any level of sponsorship is welcome, and every contribution helps ensure the event’s success.

A Global Touch – In a recent heartwarming gesture, members of Royston Rotary Club travelled to Kenya as part of a tree-planting initiative and took spare Royston in Blue and Teenage Cancer Trust t-shirts with them. The children in the village were thrilled to receive the shirts, showing just how far the impact of this local event can reach.
Let’s turn Therfield Heath blue this June for a fun, feel-good morning supporting young people with cancer.
