Christmas Wood Turning Gallery
Rowland Penfold has for many years exhibited his work at Curwens Gallery in Royston High Street.
This year he is once again opening a pop-up Gallery for a few days prior to Christmas. As well as typically seasonal offerings there will be his individual style of wood turning which includes a variety of native timbers often including other materials to enhance the final effect. He uses timbers that many other woodturners would possibly ignore which helps to create unique pieces. He always uses ethically sourced timbers which often include what can only be described as ‘botanical roadkill’. Rowland’s work makes delightful presents for all occasions.
