News from Schools – KJAR Primary & Secondary Students

This term both KJAR primary and secondary students took part in the Bebras Computational Challenge which introduces computational thinking to students it is organised in over 60 countries and designed to get students all over the world excited about computing.

We would like to particularly congratulate 37 of our students who gained the Gold Award for this Challenge, which means that they are in the top 10% of pupils nationally who have entered the challenge and will take part in the next stage of the competition which is the The Oxford University Computing Challenge w/c 15th Jan.

A particular well done to Myla Xia who gained maximum points and is ranked joint 1st nationally out of 117,000 going into the next stage. A massive congratulations to all the students who have worked hard to achieve this award.
