LitFest Returns – A Celebration of Incredible Live Music, Family Fun & Community Spirit!

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s event, LitFest returns on Saturday 26th July 1.45-9pm – FREE Entry – (Gates open from 10.30am – live music from 1.45pm), bringing an exciting day of live music, family-friendly entertainment, and community spirit to Litlington Recreation Centre, just outside Royston.

LitFest is an established, grassroots music festival that discovers, supports, and showcases independent music artists on their journey. With a strong focus on emerging talent, LitFest gives audiences the opportunity to discover rising stars — perhaps even the next George Ezra, Dua Lipa, or James Bay.

2025 Featured Artists include:

  • Georgia Nevada – A British Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year nominee and two-time UK Country iTunes #1 artist, known for blending southern rock, blues, and country with powerful vocals and storytelling.
  • Natalie Gray – A synthpop artist with over 20 million streams to her name. Natalie’s upbeat, catchy tracks include collaborations with Joel Corry and Billy Da Kid. She has previously supported Rag’n’Bone Man, Becky Hill, and Billy Lockett.
  • The Kid and I – Led by actor-musician Jacob Powell, this indie-rock outfit channels the energy of Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro. Fresh from a European tour, they bring raw, exciting energy to the stage.
  • Bridget – A true grunge powerhouse with slots at Glastonbury, Bloodstock Open Air and Beautiful Days. Her music has featured on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X.
  • South of Polaris – A Bedfordshire-based folk-flamenco-rock fusion duo gaining momentum with support from BBC Introducing and other regional stations.
