We are delighted to announce the opening of a dedicated Children’s Bookshop in Royston this summer.
From the outset, Bow Books has aimed to encourage children and young people to discover, choose and build their own collection of books – something considered increasingly important in today’s screen-focused world. With children’s reading levels currently at their lowest on record and a National Year of Reading planned for 2026, the expansion comes at the perfect time.
Following the success of the current Children’s Den, the new bespoke children’s bookshop will open at 12 Angel Pavement, directly opposite the existing Bow Books store.
To support the exciting new venture, we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers able to spare a few hours each week. No bookselling experience is necessary. If you are interested in getting involved, pop into the bookshop and speak to Paul, or alternatively email us.
