We have plenty to discover this month, with new releases, children’s favourites and local interest titles arriving in store. Follow our socials for updates or email to us to be added to our mailing list.
Leading the way is May’s Book of the Month, Clown Town by Mick Herron – an exciting new paperback perfect for fans of gripping fiction. Younger readers are well catered for too, with the return of the much-loved Magic Faraway Tree series and Jamie Smart’s latest title, Megalomaniacs. Also back in stock is Among the Fields of Gold by Chris Allan, a beautifully produced two-volume history of Barley.
Families can enjoy a magical half term event for ages 4-8 years on Thursday 28th May (10–11am), as local author Elena Mannion hosts a storytelling and craft session, Old Oak and the Wild Flowers, at The Old Schoolhouse in Royston.
Plus, meet local author Nathalie Cordell on Friday 15th May at 4pm for an intimate in-store event. Spaces are limited – To book enquire in the bookshop or visit: https://bit.ly/EventBriteNathalieCordell
