The facilities at Ashwell Village Hall are ideal for weddings, parties, celebrations, theatrical performances, music recitals and club meetings. There is ample off-street parking, stages, tables, chairs, kitchen facilities and china and cutlery - all available to hire.
The main hall can comfortably seat 90 people and the small hall can seat 40. For regular users there is also the added bonus of discounted rates. So if your club or society wishes to have a weekly meeting place, our Village Hall is the perfect venue.

Baby Sensory is the original Baby Development program specifically designed for babies from birth to 13 months. We are a science-backed program created by experts with all our activities carefully planned and created with your baby's development in mind. We lay the foundations for your child's later learning through fun, safe, captivating, and exciting ideas for play.
Our Baby and Toddler Group welcomes parents, carers and children to the village hall every Wednesday morning for play, tea and a chat. We particularly enjoy welcoming new mums and dads with babies who are looking to meet fellow new parents.
The group is run by a member of the preschool staff and takes place in term time from 9.15am - 11.15am . You'll find us at Barkway Village Hall and the session costs £3.50 for first child over 6 months and parent/carer - subsequent siblings: £1.50. Payment can be by cash or card.

Barkway Village Hall lies at the northern end of the village and is available to hire for everyone, with subsidised rates for local residents.
It’s a warm, active hall, used regularly by all ages including Parent & Toddler Group, Carpet Bowls, Pilates and Barkway Picture House.
The main Hall can accommodate up to 126 people, making it ideal for parties and weddings with parking for all.
A smaller Committee Room, which can be hired separately or alternatively, this room grants access to the garden which can accomodate a 9m by 7m marque, ideal for any celebration.
A stage with lighting, sound amplification can accommodate theatre or music productions and a projector with drop down screen are perfect for showing films and big TV events such as the Olympics.
Tables and chairs are provided and there is a sprung wooden floor which is especially suitable for keep fit and dancing.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a fully licensed bar area and a music licence for the playing and performing of any music.
