'Art in Sandon' is a local group of enthusiastic artists. We have interesting and varied topics set by our tutors who rotate through the term
The classes cover a variety of subjects in paint and drawing mediums. We have fun and surprise ourselves with encouraging challenges each week
Where: Sandon Village Hall, Nr Buntingford SG8 0QU. Warm and bright well-lit hall with plenty of free parking
When: Friday mornings 09.45 am for prompt 10am demonstration of about 30 minutes. Then drawing or painting until 1 pm with one-to-one direction and guidance
Cost: Blocks of 5 sessions at £55 payment in advance

- Coaching for children on Tuesdays from 3:45, and Sundays 12 noon to 3pm during the summer term, run by Charlotte Gibbons
- Club sessions, open to all members, are running on Sundays between 10 and 11, and Wednesday 7 to 9, from 18th April to the end of the school term.
- An adult coaching session runs on Friday morning.
- Cardio Tennis on Sundays 11 to 12, starting the first Sunday after half term for 6 weeks

Originally formed in the 1930s as the Ashwell Players, the Ashwell Theatre Club is an amateur dramatics group based in Ashwell, Hertfordshire.
The Headmaster and Mistress of the then Merchant Taylors School, Mr and Mrs Whitby, founded the Ashwell Players although this was sadly disbanded in the 1950s.

Barkway Village Hall.
Our Mother and Toddler Group welcomes parents, carers and children to the village hall every Wednesday morning for play, tea and a chat. We particularly enjoy welcoming new mums and dads with babies who are looking to meet fellow new parents.
The group is run by a member of the preschool staff and takes place in term time from 9.15am - 11.15am . You'll find us at Barkway Village Hall and the session costs £3.50 for first child over 6 months and parent/carer - subsequent siblings: £1.50. Payment can be by cash or card.

Barkway Picture House is a community based cinema showing recent run films on our large screen using the latest Blu-ray content with a high power digital projector. We show films twice a month and have separate screenings for adults and children.
