Croydon’s Reading Room, host their first Art Exhibition…

The Reading Room reopened after a 3 year long refurbishment and Steve Ellis kindly painted a beautiful mural behind the new play area, kindly free of charge but in return, everyone is invited to view Steve’s work for FREE with FREE refreshments ( including wine! ) over the weekend of 29/30th July 11am – 6pm. This will give everyone a chance to study and perhaps buy some excellent artwork, and check out the Village Hall.

Artist Biography – Born in beautiful North Wales, Steve moved south and made his home in St Albans almost 40 years ago. Following a career as a successful Graphic Artist, Steve now has returned to his love of painting and illustration.

Steve has recently finished a Commission in the Children’s play area of Croydon Reading Rooms.

The brief was to create a woodland scene, covering the two walls. This has been well received by the client, who was extremely happy with the final result.
