We’re delighted to welcome Maz and Dilan to the Royston community as they take the reins of the beautifully restored The Chequers Royston, bringing a fresh Turkish dining experience to the heart of the town.
Set within the historic Tudor building at 58 High Street, The Chequers blends its heritage with a modern approach. The menu celebrates contemporary Turkish cuisine, combining bold flavours, simple ingredients and traditional Turkish grilling, with dishes designed to share and bring people together around the table.
The Chequers is open seven days a week, 12noon–10pm, and guests are already being welcomed during the soft opening. The Grand Opening takes place on Sunday 27 September, but there’s no need to wait to enjoy a taste of Turkey in Royston.
Designed as a place to eat, stay and gather, The Chequers also offers seven beautifully presented bedrooms, each designed around a smart stay experience, with digital controls allowing guests to manage their stay with ease.
