Strawberries and ice cream were the highlights of the day at Melbourn’s John Impey Way Platinum Anniversary celebrations on Saturday 4th June.
Although inclement weather forced those attending to decamp in the local community hall the residents were in party mode and enjoyed a wonderful variety of food and drink, including a giant bowl of punch provided by one of the locals.
The estate boasts a long established and well supported monthly lunch club, and residents are continually eager to respond to regular community events.
