The Friends Of Therfield Heath and Greens
The Friends organised 13 events and 12 litter picks in 2021.
Throughout the year there were Art sessions en plein air, “walk and talks” on birds, flowers and trees on the Heath, a Star Gazing evening, Easter trail and a quiz. A similar range of events is planned for 2022. We try and give as much notice of events as possible, but the dates depend on the availability of experts, weather and covid restrictions. Sometimes this means that events are organised at short notice. Keep up to date by checking the Friends What’s On page on www.friendsoftherfieldheath.org.uk.
A small charge is made for each event. You don’t usually have to be a member to join in, but it’s worth joining because members pay less than non members! The money collected goes towards funding projects on Therfield Heath and Greens. When we join forces with another organisation who has lent us their expert, the money is shared so everyone benefits.
