Royston Radio joined the crowds at Meldreth Primary School PTA’s Family Festival for an afternoon packed with music, entertainment and community fun.
Meldreth Primary School PTA welcomed families for its Family Festival on Saturday, and what a fantastic turnout it was!
Royston Radio was there to capture the atmosphere as families enjoyed an afternoon packed with live music, activities, entertainment, food and stalls, with plenty to keep all ages entertained.
Local musicians Stacey Lee Cuddy, Amelia Froggatt, Mawson’s Folly and Charles Arbon provided the soundtrack to the afternoon, brilliantly supported by Landy’s Atomic Sounds.
There was plenty of fun for younger visitors too. The racing dinosaur, shark and Minion proved a huge hit, while the inflatable dartboard, assault course and bouncy castles from Cambridge Bouncy Castles kept children entertained for hours. A special appearance from Spider-Man brought even more smiles to the day!
The BBQ went down a treat, the bar was an added bonus, and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying themselves and the local community coming together.
A huge amount of work went on behind the scenes, with the fantastic Meldreth Primary School PTA committee spending three months planning and organising the festival. Their hard work resulted in a well-attended, well-organised and thoroughly enjoyable event for all ages.
Days like this are a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together – congratulations to everyone involved in making the Family Festival such a success.
