With Royston Arts Festival on the horizon, it’s a bumper month for events at Royston Museum!
Firstly, welcome the harvest home and join Royston Museum and Chiltern West Gallery Quire for an evening of local folk, church and harvest songs. Experience the sights and sounds of a summer evening in the early 19th century when the corn is in at last, with period costume, music, dances and stories from the fields, inns and churches of Royston. Learn about the Ice Age in North Hertfordshire with a talk from historian and curator at North Herts Museum, Keith Fitzpatrick-Matthews. Thurs 28th Sep, 7.30pm. Tickets available from Royston Museum, on the door or online.
Don your berets, grab your prosecco and get creative within the unique environment of Royston Museum. With a Roman model as your subject, you’ll have 2 hours to enjoy the bubbles and paint until your heart’s content – prosecco flute in one hand, paint brush in the other!
