The Royston Wildlife Group has for many years organised a series of five highly regarded wildlife presentations during the autumn and winter months.

The presentations include stunning photographs and fascinating information about wildlife. We are pleased to announce that the group will now be amalgamated with the Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens (FOTH) in order be able to better promote and support the group. Money raised by the group will go to support efforts to look after our precious wildlife, most locally and on the Heath.

This year’s first present-ation in Sept-ember, ‘From there to here: A wildlife photographer’s journey’ will be delivered by Keith Gypps, an award winning local wildlife photographer. The other presentations will be: an update on Therfield Heath and its management for wildlife; an insight into the life of Badgers; Winter in Japan; Wildlife of the Atlantic Islands.

The meetings are held on the last Tuesdays in the month from September through to February, excluding December, at 7.30pm in the Heritage Hall in the Town Hall. Attendance is cheap, only £4/session for current members of RWG and of FOTH, £5 for non-members or season tickets for all 5 sessions at £17 and £20 respectively (children under 18 free).
