Royston Environmental Group: Be Sustainable: Plastic Free July

Welcome to Plastic Free July in Royston!

Plastic Free July™ is a shared global movement that helps millions of people reduce plastic waste through simple, everyday choices and be part of the solution to plastic pollution. That way, we can enjoy cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities. Will you join Plastic Free July™ by choosing to refuse single-use plastics?

The campaign asks people to choose one plastic item from their everyday lives to refuse, from takeaway cups to plastic bottles or packaged produce, and make a pledge on their webpage. Together, our small actions make a big difference toward a plastic free future. Small, individual and local actions adding up to improve the planet!

Why not do a single-use plastic audit at home and let us know how you get on? If you want to go a step further, do encourage your business or club to join Plastic Free Royston, a scheme run by Royston Environmental Group and certified by Surfers Against Sewage.

Royston Environmental Group are inviting everyone to join us on a Plastic Free Picnic on Saturday 11th July, 12noon-2pm in Priory Memorial Gardens, Royston.

Please pre-register for the Picnic at: https://bit.ly/REGPlasticFreePicnic

Have fun and reduce plastic!
