December saw the return of our ever popular Cave by Candlelight event.
All tours on both days were sold out and all our visitors were mesmerised by the cave’s mystical carvings in the flickering candle light.
A flourish of private tours have kept us busy post-Christmas and many international visitors have made detours during their holidays just to visit us, battling wet weather and train disruptions. Others have celebrated their birthday with friends, whilst one visitor just wanted to spend an hour quietly meditating. Our special cave attracts so many different people, which makes the job of being a guide so interesting!
With that in mind, our public visitor season starts on the 6th April and we are seeking to recruit additional guides to join our lovely team. The deadline for applications is the 28th February 2024.
