Royston Cave 2022: A Year of Discovery
Dowsing rods at the ready!
We’re halfway through our Year of Discovery and, this month, we’re celebrating the arrival of summer by exploring the mystery of Ley lines; what they are and their supposed connection to Royston Cave. We’ll also learn about paganism and the theory that the cave has been a sacred site for thousands of years, studying carvings like the horse and earth goddess, believed to be ancient fertility symbols.
June also sees the launch of our brand new event to mark the Summer Solstice!
Thought to be a powerful source of healing energy, come and experience the longest day of the year at one of Britain’s most unique sites and bask in the cave’s magical aura. With no formal tours, it’s your chance to descend beneath the bustle of modern life and sit in peace; to meditate and… breathe.
Tuesday 21st June – Tickets are on sale now at roystoncave.co.uk.
Plus we’ll be launching a nationwide competition to design your own carving, with an exclusive Royston Cave prize to be won! Keep an eye on our social media for details.
We’ll be open every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday until 25th September. Online booking only.
