Royston Rotary Club have introduced a novel Christmas idea for children. They are producing realistic videos from Santa which are personalised for the children of a particular family.
A family member e.g. Mum, Dad, Aunt, Grandma etc enters details on an online order form, such as the children’s names, what they might like for Christmas and any other important details that Santa might need to make the video very personal to the children. 
The resulting link to the video is sent by email by Santa to the person who ordered. Privacy is important, and the video link is unique to the family. All will be permanently deleted on 31st December 2023, although a family can download the video and keep it.
The turnaround time can be up to five days (Santa is very busy at this time of year, you know!). The cost of this is £10 per family and money raised will be donated to the charity Angels Support Group in Hitchin, which supports families with children suffering with  ADHD and/or autism. Â
