The grand total raised for this year’s Poppy Appeal in Melbourn and Meldreth is an amazing £4137.08
This money was raised with the support of the Melbourn Detachment Cadets, who spent a weekend fundraising at Bury Lane Farm Shop. Our special thanks to Bury Lane for hosting, and to their customers, for raising £1548.91. 
Special mention should also be given to our local schools who raised a fantastic amount of £623.80 in total, well done to them!
Also, thank you to all the shops and businesses who supported our collection. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you all, and many thanks for your support.
And finally, a massive thank you to all the members of the public who were so generous with their donations. Your support has made a real difference to those in the Armed Forces community. Without your efforts, they couldn’t do the work that they do. Thank you.
