Celine Bridier, an interior designer from Royston, is leading a team, which includes Chris White, Managing Director of White Space Creative, and Sophie Waters, Business Relationship Manager at Airbus, to climb Kilimanjaro this summer.
Together, they are excited to embark on this remarkable journey to the breathtaking peak of Kilimanjaro, all in support of the orphanage that Celine lovingly established outside Moshi, Tanzania.
They aim to raise £5895, £1 for every metre they climb.
Celine’s greatest dream is to uplift the 25 children at at the Moshi Orphanage, helping them to overcome their daily struggles and give them the resources they need for a brighter future, through education and basic food resources.
– £1 provides 1.5 kg of rice
– £1 provides 1.5 litres of milk
– £1 provides 12-15 baby nappies
– £1 provides 1.2 kg of bananas
– £1 provides 10 eggs
An 8 year-old orphan from the orphanage will be joining on the trek, to the summit of the highest free-standing mountain in the world, standing at 5,895 metres.
The 8-day journey departs on 28th June via the Lemosho route.
The team truly need your support, and every little contribution makes a huge difference. They will face the challenges of the climb, and you can help by sharing your kindness, which will help to create lasting change for the children in the orphanage.
