Royston Pickleball Club

We are a friendly club and welcome new adult members of all abilities, including those new to the game. We have member sessions throughout the week and weekend at various venues.

Anyone new to the game is invited to attend an introductory session, equipment provided.

Unicorn Folk – Supporting Folk Music in the UK

Promoting folk music for the sake of fans and musicians alike. Run as a not-for-profit and sponsors Filby’s Folk a regular Sunday Evening show on Royston Radio, which is a mixture of traditional and contemporary folk, folk rock, Celtic and acoustic music plus a selection of the latest album releases and UK Folk Album Chart entries with podcasts for catching up.

The Musical Box

The Musical Box is a vibrant musical group for babies and young children. The group runs every Thursday during term time 11am to 12noon until 31st July 2025 in Elmdon Village Hall and Clavering Village Hall on Wednesdays 11.30am - 12.30pm.

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of instruments to play, songs and marches, stories and poems plus tea and biscuits. No need to book in advance, just turn up and pay £5 cash on the door per family.

Story Meadow – Nature – Storytelling – Art

Story Meadow provides immersive storytelling sessions in beautiful natural settings. Children are encouraged to share their ideas throughout the wonderful stories.  The sessions break off for small world play, short challenges, and arts and crafts then come back together at the end of the session to hear the end of the story with the children's contributions and arts and crafts to bring it to life!

The Royston Parent & Toddler Group meets in the Royston Priory Gardens, 9.45-10.45am or 11-12noon | Every Tuesday during term time | £6 a session each half term (or £8.50 drop in). To book: www.storymeadow.co.uk

 

The Outdoors Project

Inspiring outdoor adventure clubs for primary school age children in years 1 to 6. We run birthday parties, holiday clubs and after school clubs – 100% outside, all year round. We also offer school workshops and pre-school sessions.

Our parties and holiday clubs run in the beautiful grounds of Studlands Rise First School, Royston. Birthday party activities include Harry Potter, Wildcraft vs. Minecraft, Nerf, and Bushcraft.
