Wednesdays, every 2 weeks, 10.45am-1pm

 

One of us usually demonstrates an activity for everyone to ‘have a go’ but, if they prefer, people bring their own craft to do while chatting and enjoying a cup of tea.

We meet on the second Monday of the month in Foxton Village Hall Pavilion, from 2-4pm and ask for £2 contribution to cover the costs and the essential tea and cake!  If you would like to join us, please get in touch.

Orwell Village Hall

Orwell Village Hall is perfect for private hire celebrations, stage performances and club meetings.  We welcome bookings for one-off occasions and regular events.

The main hall capacity is 160 people for dance or theatre style seating and 140 for table seating.  A smaller rear room is ideal for committee meetings or as a green room for stage shows.

The hall is a registered charity run by volunteers to provide an amenity for Orwell and the surrounding area.

Hot Numbers Business Club

Hot Numbers Business Club launches a new monthly networking event for local entrepreneurs, freelancers and professionals, offering a relaxed alternative to traditional networking. Held at The Roastery on first Tuesday of the month from Tuesday 2nd June (8.30–10am). Tickets are £10 and includes a speciality coffee and a pastry or croissant. With limited spaces, the focus is on meaningful connections in a welcoming, informal setting.

Community Support for Dementia

Community Support for Dementia is a voluntary group working to support those 'living with dementia', their personal carers, family members and friends. With knowledge through personal experience we truly understand how important it is for social interaction and stimulation during this difficult time.

We hold a monthly Memory Cafe (Saturdays),  a monthly Dementia Sing-Along (Fridays) at Meldreth Village Hall, and other dementia friendly activities. All our events offer a safe and inclusive space, giving carers the opportunity to relax and share experiences with other carers and for their loved ones 'living with dementia' to engage in activities such as:-  music, singing, dancing, crafts, puzzles, pet therapy and much more.  If you would like to join us, please contact either

Run Talk Run – RTR Royston

Run talk run is free weekly gentle 5k and is about community, connection and peace not pace. Everyone is welcome and no pace is too slow. Meeting every Thursday 9 for a 9.15am start.
