A community organisation for men aged 18 to 45. Social activities such as HGV driving, Indoor Skydiving, laser warfare, zorb football, banger rally. Support the local community raising funds and organising events such as Father Christmas sleigh, Music Festivals and more. New members welcome.

Our Club has flourished in Royston for over 30 years. We are a very happy and active group where, people who have suffered a stroke, can get together, in a social setting, and enjoy sessions of quizzes, arts and crafts and special outings. New members will be very welcome.

Royston University Of The Third Age (Royston U3A)

Royston U3A's constantly growing range of group activities offers members the opportunity to make new friends, discover new interests and activities they never had time for before.
Monthly meetings with a visiting guest speaker.
Royston U3A has over 400 members and if you are over 50, semi-retired or retired, you are very welcome to join us.

In aid of St Mary’s restoration fund meeting every Sunday 2:30-5pm until the end of October then Ashwell Museum take on exactly the same slot until mid-April. Sunday afternoon teas are held all year round in The Parish Room Swan Str, Ashwell, with two groups keeping it going in order to raise funds for their separate organisations.

Temporary Banking Hub

Located in the annexe at the back of Royston Town Hall, SG8 7DA,  which already houses the Citizens’ Advice Bureau

Organised by Cash Access UK

Open five days per week

Offering a counter service where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions and such facilities as paying utility bills.

There will also be a community banker service where customers can discuss more complicated issues with their bank.

The Carers in Herts Support Group

Our Carer Support Hubs allow you to meet with other carers, share information, support each other and chat over a cuppa.

A Carer Support Advisor will be joining us to talk about the different respite options available to carers. They will also be able to offer 1-1 support for any questions you may have concerning your caring role.

All carers welcome to meet other carers for a cup of coffee/tea and Biscuits

Meet in the Royston Town Hall the first Thursday of the month from 10.30am-12.30pm.

University Of The Third Age U3A (Melbourn & District)

More than 25 activity & learning groups. Monthly meeting with guest speaker every third Wednesday monthly (except December) at 2.30 for a 3pm start at Melbourn Village College. From January 2024 they are in the new venue of Melbourn Science Park SG8 6EE

Weekly drop-in Wellbeing Hub

Garden House Hospice Care and Compassionate Neighbours Wellbeing Hub now every Tuesday morning in Royston.

The Wellbeing Hub provides a welcoming, friendly space for people to come along for a cup of tea and a chat, talk to and be listened to by one of our team members, gain information about our therapies and support services, feel more in control and live life to its greatest potential. We also provide a seated exercise class each week for all abilities.

These sessions are free, no booking necessary just pop along!  Free parking on site and transport available on request.

WI Royston Evening Group

2nd Thursday every month 19:30-21:30 at The Heritage Hall, Melbourn St, Royston, SG8 7DA.

We are an extremely new group and new members are very welcome.

In addition to the main programme members can join additional social clubs throughout the month including Book Clubs, Brunch, Games, Walking and more!
