Community News: Barkway Pantomime 2024 – The Four Mousketeers

The Barkway Players return with a highly original pantomime centered around a hitherto unknown Barkway industry and export.

If you thought Panto season was over, we have news for you: Oh no it isn’t!  Barkway’s panto is due to be performed during the first weekend of February. The Four Mousketeers is the 31st annual pantomime from the Barkway Players – and it’s been written by members of the group so you can be sure it will be original. We’re told the plot is a secret, but with characters with names like Mistress Cheddar, Hal Loumi, Gordon Zola and Fairy Lea it’s a pretty safe bet that cheese is central to the storyline. And we’re even promised a cow during what is certain to be an unmissable show! The Barkway Panto raises money for Barkway Village Hall, a registered charity.

We won’t say more for fear of spoiling the plot – but it’s a show you won’t want to miss!

It’s at Barkway Village Hall on Friday 2nd February at 8pm, and Saturday 3rd February at 2pm and 8pm.
