Wild Fields Therapy is a community counselling and psychotherapy service rooted in the belief that everyone should have access to emotional support, whatever stage of life they are in.
Behind the name is a team of highly qualified, experienced therapists, BACP and UKCP registered, with many years of professional practice between them. We bring deep training, clinical knowledge, and ethical care to our work, alongside warmth, creativity, and respect for each individual’s story.
We work with children from the age of 3 through to older adults, offering a calm, supportive space to explore the many experiences that shape us. We can also work with families. Issues may include anxiety, depression, school avoidance/anxiety, bereavement, trauma, sexual abuse, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, disordered eating or simply feeling lost or overwhelmed and in need of someone to talk to.
We use different therapeutic approaches based on the needs of the client. For younger children this is usually play therapy and for older children and adults we may make use of creative arts as well as talking therapies.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), Wild Fields Therapy exists for the benefit of the community. Our focus is on providing compassionate, ethical and affordable support with an aim that cost is not a barrier. During an initial assessment we will discuss your circumstances and agree a fair fee based on a sliding scale payment model. Those who are able to pay a little more will help us support those who cannot.
