Royston Cricket Club, founded in 1790 on Therfield Heath, the club is now based in the village of Therfield.
The club is open to new players of all abilities from 5 to 70 plus. If you would like to start playing or return to playing, we have an option for you.
We run two Saturday league sides and a friendly midweek team:
1st XI Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Premier League – CCA Senior League Division 1
2nd XI CCA Junior League 3 South
The Midweek Team train at Therfield on a Wednesday, and will be playing friendly matches throughout the season.
Senior nets are on Tuesdays from 7 to 8.30pm and will start from 21st April.
Youth Cricket
Our youth section is for players from 9 to 18 years old and play league cricket across Cambridgeshire. Training for U9s to U15s will start on Tuesday 21st April from 5 to 7pm at Therfield.
This year we will be running sessions from 5pm to 6pm for those starting to play hard ball cricket. This is open to U9s to U11s. The U12 to U15 session will start at 5.30pm. We have a Girls only group who play in the Cambridgeshire Women and Girls League.
Getting into Cricket
Our popular Allstars/Dynamos programmes are now open to register for players from 5 to 11 years old. We have 3 sessions, one Allstars and two Dynamos including a girls only session on Sunday mornings all starting from 10th May.
