Spotlight focuses on the attached photo! Introducing Charlie W a striker who plays for Squadron 66 Under 11’s who joined Shepreth Spifires Tots Football team 6 years ago. 
Since starting his football journey with Shepreth Spitfires Charlie has been joined by his Grandad. Giving encouragement and support to Charlie and all his teammates. After several years of being known by all at the side of the pitch as ‘Grandad Kev’ he has now progressed to ‘Coach Kev’. It is a pleasure for Shepreth Spitfires to see the team’s players mature with their coaches!
Under 12’s 19 Squadron played top of the table Exning, now Cambridge City. Shepreth battled hard throughout the match bringing the score to 2-2. Unfortunately, despite Shepreth never giving up the final score was 2-6 after great goals from the opposition.
Under 11’s Squadron 66 has a great game with a goal from Charlie W within the first three minutes rapidly followed by a thunder of a goal from Walt! Unfortunately, the match was lost but both teams played superbly! Players of the match went to Walter for his overall contribution and Charlie H aka Pep for great passing and classy defending!!
Our Under 7’s 19 Squadron got their first win!! A fantastic boost for the younger teams!
Under 10’s 19 Squadron had a great win against a strong team Coton! A great match with happy faces at the end!
