Parkinson’s: Live Well and Stay Active

Parkinson’s: Live Well and Stay Active

Come and join us for a Live Well and Stay Active afternoon in Royston. If you live with Parkinson’s, are family or friends, or an interested professional this event is for you.

Our event will be opened by Veronica Clark, an internationally renowned speech therapist who has invested huge amounts of her life to Parkinson’s disease and the benefits of active therapies.

Veronica’s presentation will be followed by a complimentary networking lunch with opportunities to meet others and visit information stands including local support, and Parkinson’s UK services.

Lunch will then be followed by taster sessions of exercise, yoga, dance, static cycling, singing and vocal exercise. These sessions are for everybody.

We will also be joined by the Parkinson’s UK research team who will be updating us on the current research projects and ways you can be involved. We really are excited about encouraging more activity in this area and hope to see you soon.
