As many of you will know Melbourn Library is now housed in the Melbourn Hub. It is a Local Access Point (LAP) which means that it is run by volunteers with full access to all the resources of Cambridgeshire Library Services.
What some of you may not be aware is that it is not there just for the residents of Melbourn but for everyone in all the surrounding villages whether they are in Cambridgeshire or Hertfordshire.
There is a good stock of fiction for both adults and children. New books are regularly purchased to keep the stock up to date although many classic novels are available. What is particularly heartening is the number of children who use the library, the amount of shelf space allotted to their books keeps having to be extended.
As an added bonus the Hub Café will be open and parking is free.
