We are all so proud at The Listing Magazine today as we celebrate winning the top awards at the Cambridge Building Society Community Magazine Awards last night at Cambridge United Football Club.
We scooped the Silver Award for The Listing SG8 Villages and Gold for The Listing Royston Magazines in The Cambridge Building Society Community Magazine Awards, in the top category of High Frequency Magazines.
The Listing started life in Cath Boughton’s front room in 2005 as a black and white community magazine for Royston, and now serves 16500 households every month along with a successful website.
Nowadays, we’re based on John Street in the heart of Royston town centre, and employ a team of four local people – Director Cath Boughton, Sharon Windebank who looks after our Sales and Marketing, Writer and Designer Kate Berry and Publishing Assistant Grace Thompson.
Cath expressed her pride in all of the team when she explained “As anyone in publishing will know, to create a fresh design, engaging content which is locally relevant and features local people and businesses, comprehensive events and organisations listings, month after month, and staying on track with deadlines, keeping committed, upbeat, dedicated, and working as an amazing Team, is no mean feat. We are incredibly proud of our achievements and hope too that our readers and advertisers will share in our success.”
We run two websites, this one, www.thelistingmagazine.co.uk which focuses on the Royston and wider SG8 community, and www.thelistingmarketing.co.uk which offers Marketing Services to small businesses and organisations.
