On Friday 11th October children and staff at Icknield Walk First School wore something yellow to raise money for ‘Young Minds’, a charity that supports children’s mental health and well-being.
Mrs Harward, the school’s emotional well-being mentor said; ““It was fantastic to see so many children and adults ‘go yellow’ to support young people’s mental health. As well as wearing yellow, the children further brightened their day by taking part in activities to promote good mental health and emotional well-being.” An incredible £396.80 has been raised so far!
