By the time clients begin their coaching journey with me, they often feel so overwhelmed they don’t know where to begin. So, we start with just one single thing.
If they have come to explore more realistic ways of healthier eating, we might begin by rethinking their breakfasts. The marketing of breakfast cereals can be misleading. ‘Fortified’ and ‘healthy’, highly processed, low nutritional value cereals are no match for a protein rich breakfast. But most of us don’t get enough quality protein in our diets. Protein is the building block of life, helping us make muscle, connective tissues, hair, blood, enzymes, and neurotransmitters, helps regulate our blood glucose levels (and therefore our mood!), keeps us fuller longer, helps with body fat loss & fighting off many illnesses. Making one small change can make such a huge difference. Where & when will you begin?
