Therfield Heath Conservation – Volunteers Wanted!

Therfield Heath Conservation – Volunteers Wanted!

Exciting projects are taking place on Therfield Heath, and we want as many people as possible to get involved in protecting and improving this beautiful nature reserve and important SSSI. Projects that our volunteer team will be tackling include: scrub removal; invasive species management; rare species monitoring; woodland management; and footpath maintenance.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and make a real difference in your community. Volunteer groups will be led by our Ranger, Cat, with a focus on a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Volunteer groups will run every Wednesday and Sunday from 1-4pm from the 16th November. All help is greatly appreciated, and volunteers are welcome to join for only part of a group session.

If you are interested in getting involved or would like more information, please contact Cat at ranger@therfieldheath.org.uk or call the ranger mobile 07831 386 376
