Royston Runners
Congratulations to Tom Beach who represented Hertfordshire at the UK County Athletics Union (CAU) Championships [better known as the UK Inter Counties Champs]. The championships were held on Saturday 9th March at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough.
Tom was selected to compete following his fantastic achievement to finish 9th at the Herts Champs in St. Albans in early January. The top 10 athletes from each age group get selected to compete at the Inter counties. He is the first Royston Runner to be selected to run for the County.
Tom came in at 224th in a very strong line up and was 4th to score for the Hertfordshire team.
