We’re gearing up for a busy May at Royston Museum, with a month jammed packed with events and activities for all ages to enjoy.
We have all our usual monthly events, including Museum Babies and Museum Tots on Wednesday 7th May, Spark! Art Club on Thursday 8th May, and our next evening talk, This was Royston, on Wednesday 21st May.Royston Arts Society has made a welcome return to the Museum for their 2025 Members’ Exhibition. The exhibition features a wide variety of affordable art by more than 20 of RAS’s members and will be running until Sunday 8th June.
For Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ve teamed up with the fab Yoga with Aline to run two sessions to support wellbeing at the Museum on Wednesday 14th May. A Peaceful Pause is a gentle Hatha Yoga class and Breathe and Be will explore simple breathing exercises and a guided meditation practice.
If that’s not enough, we also have all the fun of Lego, without the tidy up or the kids in our Bricks and Beer evening on Friday 16th May and an evening of Music at the Museum by Cut the Mustard on Friday 23rd May.
Then at the end of the month, we’ll be calling all noble knights and mighty monarchs to join us for our Swords and Sceptres during May half term with hands-on family fun inspired by knights, kings and their castles.
