Discover over 2000 years of Royston’s story… by Royston Museum
Open until 17th October, come and see over 35 stunning images at Royston Photographic Society’s Annual Exhibition!
We’ve reopened the museum’s balcony for the first time since our redevelopment too, so you can now experience our updated Exhibition Hall from new heights as we continue to make more parts of the museum available to be explored and used by the community. A huge thank you to Johnson Matthey for providing the funding to enable us to complete works to the balcony railings.
During half-term, from 27th – 28th October, we’ll be hosting two days of spell-binding Halloween activities for Royston’s little witches and wizards. Did you know King James I had a palace in Royston, and that he was famous for hunting witches? Gather your eye of newt and toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog, as we take you on a broom-ride through history to experience real-life witch trials! Learn how to mix historic potions and cast ancient spells, and get creative with some enchanting arts and (witch)crafts.
