Out & About: Steeple Morden Remembers
The people of Steeple Morden have been rummaging through attics and trunks to find memorabilia depicting the life, times and social history of the village from World War I to the present day.
Exhibition
Come and look around our “100 Years of Memories” exhibition. Many village organisations have been researching their histories with photos, newspaper cuttings and scrapbooks.
Learn the history of many buildings from pubs to dwellings and shops to farms. Lots of memorabilia including old toys, books and games will be on display.

Friday 13th July we have later viewing until 7.30pm. Come and enjoy some refreshments with licensed cash bar from 6pm
Primary School Summer Fete
This year’s theme is “Bookfest” in support of the school library. Come and enjoy the usual fun activities.

Open Gardens
In Steeple Morden over 12 gardens of all shapes, sizes and styles will be open to visitors. Programmes will be available from the Village Hall or exhibiting gardens. Adults £5, children under 16 free.

Reflections on the Great War

355th USAAF Fighter Group
The 355th USAAF Fighter Group will be commemorating 75 years since their arrival at their base between Steeple Morden and Litlington.
