Mercy Ships

Mercy Ships operates the largest civilian hospital ship in the world, delivering vital, free healthcare to some of the world’s poorest countries.

This “floating hospital” is staffed almost entirely by volunteers, who give their expertise for free to help treat dental and eye problems, cleft lips and palates, tumours, club feet, childbirth injuries, burns and a variety of other conditions.
However, this healthcare costs money and Mercy Ships use their funds to perform the surgeries and run the ship, so volunteers are asked to raise their own funds to support their service with the organisation.
We have been given an opportunity to be part of this amazing team of volunteers.  We will be on the ship, the Africa Mercy,  for two weeks from the 15th April 2018.
We have organised two fantastic fundraising events for this great cause and hope that you will support us.
