Friends of Therfield Heath: Royston Wildlife Group Talk

The next exciting and informative talk in the Royston Wildlife Group programme, part of the Friends of Therfield Heath & Greens, will be on Tuesday 27th January with an illustrated presentation, ‘Enhancing Biodiversity’, by Paul Cassidy.

Paul, an Ecology and Conservation Manager for Meadfleet, led a walk on Therfield Heath in which his knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, wildlife was outstanding. His talk will focus on how Meadfleet manages public open green space to benefit wildlife. He will also describe how they try to change public perceptions by reaching out to schools and communities to demonstrate how enhancing wildlife also benefits people.

We start at 7.30pm in the Heritage Hall at Royston Town Hall for an unforgettable evening of wildlife discovery. We believe in making wildlife education accessible to all, which is why the admission prices are remarkably affordable and free for under 18s.

For Friends of Therfield Heath members and Royston Wildlife Group members it’s £4 per session, non-members £5. No need to book, just turn up. We always have a raffle so if you have something suitable that you could provide as a prize we would be very grateful.
