Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens

The Friends are giving away bee friendly flower seeds to members at the Royston Kite Festival on Sunday 7th August.

Those who enquire about membership on the day will also receive flower seeds. The seeds are on eco-friendly, plantable paper with instructions on how to seed a corner of your garden. One free pack per household. Single and family memberships are available so come and visit us on the Friends stall and find out what we do.

Upcoming events are: an evening photography course; daytime painting and sketching sessions with friendly local artists; an evening Bat discovery walk across the Heath, always a favourite; a fascinating daytime barrows walk and talk across the Heath led by the archaeologist and curator of Hitchin Museum. Events are open to both members and non-members, with a discount for members.

We also organise a monthly litter pick on the Heath, which is free for anyone who joins in, so come and help keep the Heath clean.
