Royston Radio would like to say a huge thank you to everyone across Royston and the surrounding communities who tuned in and got in touch during their successful soft launch on Sunday 27th September.
The response from listeners was extremely encouraging, with strong interest in both of our launch programmes: The PYE Story and Royston and District Writers’ Circle.
Both shows attracted a high level of listener engagement, while the feedback received following the broadcasts has highlighted the clear appetite for a dedicated community focused radio station serving the local area.
The team at Royston Radio is delighted by the warm welcome the station has received and would like to thank everyone who listened, shared the broadcasts, sent messages and supported us during this important first step.
We are now looking forward to building on the success of the soft launch and bringing even more local voices, stories, organisations and events to the airwaves.
Are you part of a local community organisation?
We would love to hear from you. If your group, club or organisation would like to be featured on a future Royston Radio broadcast, please get in touch
