A brand new kitchen at Royston Methodist Church was officially opened on Sunday, 13th October, with Royston Mayor, Cllr John Rees, cutting the ribbon.
A celebratory 3-course Sunday lunch was served to 64 attendees, prepared by the ladies who helped design the kitchen layout.
This marks the completion of two summers of refurbishment work, which also includes new toilets, improvements to the lobby area, and the installation of a platform lift. The entire project was overseen by Paul Harris and Alan Bishop, with the valuable support of the Property Team. These new facilities will be enjoyed by all the groups that regularly use the church premises.
