Award winning event planned for Spring Bank Holiday weekend
Join ‘Local Go Tri Duathlon’ on Saturday 27th May, 10am (adults) 1pm (junior) 
Perfect for those new to multi-sport events or for the more experienced who just want to test their fitness, the Steeple Chasers Running & Cycling Club are set to stage another award-winning Go Tri. The last event held was the 2023 regional winner of British Triathlon’s Go Tri Initiative of the Year.
The route consists of a 2.5km road run, 14km bike on rural roads followed by a second 2.5km trail run. There will be marshals and signage at key locations. The bike route is suitable for road bikes, hybrids and mountain bikes.
A fully off-road children’s duathlon (8-14 yrs) will also be available. This will take place at Steeple Morden Recreation Ground and will consist of a 300m run – 1k bike – 150m run.
*Â A fun and family-friendly duathlon taking place in the beautiful villages of Steeple Morden and Abington Pigotts, Cambridgeshire, SG8.
*Â It is a fantastic event for those who are new to multi-sport events and for those who just want to test their fitness.
*Â Medals and homemade cakes will be available for all competitors.
All welcome, but places are limited so we recommend booking early.
