Local businessman Sharone Freed of ColourFence t/as Freed Fencing, cycles 500+ miles for charity.
Throughout October Sharone is cycling for Diabetes UK to support the 4.9 million people in the UK who live with diabetes, day in and day out.
As a father of a teenage daughter who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes aged 5 years old, Sharone knows only too well the impact this condition has on, not only the individual but the family as a whole.
Over the last 11 years, the family has seen how technology and advances in medicine have significantly improved their daughter’s quality of life and Sharone wanted to do something to support the diabetic community and those who look after them.
