BB Pizza celebrates double award win with Muddy Stilettos success
An artisan pizza business based in Ashwell is celebrating a standout start to the year after scooping two major awards in just two months, including a win at the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Awards.
BB Pizza, a mobile pizza venture run by husband-and-wife team Eve and Karim Bouroubi, was named Best Casual Dining in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, securing an impressive 67.74% of the public vote, a decisive lead in one of the region’s most competitive categories.
Eve said: “We’re absolutely over the moon. To win one award is amazing, but to take home two in such a short space of time has blown us away. It shows that passion, consistency and care for your community really do shine through.”
Known for its creative artisan pizzas, standout service and loyal local following, BB Pizza serves customers at markets, private parties and events across the region. The business has grown rapidly through word of mouth and social media, earning high praise for quality, speed and its friendly approach.
The Muddy Stilettos Awards champion the best independent businesses across 35 counties, attracting thousands of nominations and votes each year. Winners are selected through a combination of public vote and editorial review, with this year’s campaign drawing record engagement.

BB Pizza now progresses to the national finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards, with the Best of the Best title set to be announced on 25 June 2025.
