The Woodman Inn
The Woodman Inn in Nuthampstead is a welcoming country pub and restaurant with a fascinating local history.
Dating back to the 17th century, the pub was a favourite meeting place for American airmen stationed at Nuthampstead Airfield during the Second World War, and photographs and memorabilia still tell their story today.
Enjoy freshly prepared pub favourites, handmade pizzas, a children’s menu and traditional Sunday roasts.
With a spacious garden, children’s play area and a warm welcome for dogs, it is a lovely place for family meals, catch-ups with friends and countryside walks.
The Woodman also hosts community events and offers private hire for celebrations and festive dining.
