The Jungle Sensory Room in Bassingbourn is a welcoming and spacious, baby-led sensory space for babies aged 0–3 years, designed to support early development through play, movement, and relaxation. Our immersive jungle-themed environment encourages babies to explore at their own pace in a calm and engaging setting. We also offer inclusive SEN sessions for children aged 0–7 years, alongside gentle baby yoga classes and nurturing baby massage courses that support bonding and wellbeing. The Jungle Sensory Room is also available for private hire and is an ideal venue for baby and toddler birthday parties, group meet ups, or special occasions. Our aim is to provide a calm, inclusive environment where children can thrive and parents can feel relaxed and supported.

A postnatal doula provides valuable support and guidance to new parents during the postpartum period. They offer practical assistance with newborn care, breastfeeding, household tasks, and emotional support to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. Their role is to empower parents and help them feel confident in their parenting journey.
We provide a wide range of arts and crafts activity classes for children and adults.
Our award-winning classes have been designed to inspire and develop your creativity.
By signing up to our classes you and your little ones will be able to spend creative time together, develop new skills and meet other like-minded families in a safe space.
During school holiday we provide holiday clubs for children up to 11 years old.
We also offer special arty parties for those looking to for a fun way to celebrate birthdays!
Therfield Heath is an area of Common Land and most of it is a Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is owned by the Therfield Regulation Trust, which is a registered charity.
It is managed by the Conservators of Therfield Heath and Greens.
Around Therfield there are registered Village Greens and other areas of Common Land which are held and manged in the same way.
Our Carer Support Hubs allow you to meet with other carers, share information, support each other and chat over a cuppa.
A Carer Support Advisor will be joining us to talk about the different respite options available to carers. They will also be able to offer 1-1 support for any questions you may have concerning your caring role.
All carers welcome to meet other carers for a cup of coffee/tea and Biscuits
