At Roman Way Academy, children join the Nursery in the year they turn four and we also offer afternoon sessions, in the summer term for ‘early risers’ (children who will be four in the September).
We believe in a holistic and nurturing approach and consider the children’s physical, personal, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing as well as cognitive aspects of learning.
We strive for high standards, consider the development of the whole child and seek to foster resilience and independence. We aim to provide the essential knowledge that children need to prepare them for their future success and to give children the best possible start to their early education.
The school day starts at 8.45 and finishes at 3.15 with the option of morning, afternoon or all day sessions. Children attending morning or afternoon sessions can also book into our lunchclub. All Nursery sessions are taught by an experienced teacher who is supported by high quality EYFS practitioners.
